Energy Playbook
When people fail keto, it's usually because:
- They have a hard day
- They need to be 100% productive / attentive / whatever
- They believe carbs will get them there
Before you reach for the carbs, go through this check-list first & see if you still need carbs at the end:
Basics:
- Chug Water
- Electrolytes
- Caffeine
- Protein
- Fat
- MCT oil is best (faster energy)
- Spoonful of olive oil is fine (kinda gross)
- Avocado
- Butter (goes great in coffee)
Advanced:
- Ketone Monoesters
- This is a somewhat-fringe supplement that works insanely well for me.
- Instant energy, no crash, no breaking ketosis
- Exercise a tiny bit
- Take a nap
- Literally eat 2 blueberries
- Try a really sweet keto treat (as a last resort)
