Prime Protein
Pros:
- Nutritious
- No sugar
- Tastes great when blended
Cons:
- Insanely clumpy
- You have to blend it
- Don't drink it from a shaker
- The clumps float on the top
- Expensive (but you can now buy it with your HSA!!!)
Summary
It's not whey -- this is ground up cow... think beef-jerkey, powdered & sweetened. So it has B12 (unlike whey & plant-based products), and they use awesome cows (grass-fed etc...).
I thought this sounded gross at first, but it's actually waaaaay less gross than whey products when you think about it (pro-tip: don't think about it). Just compare the ingredients list.
Natural food has weirder textures, and that's ok. The collagens / gelatins are clumpy when wet, and it's good that they don't do much to hide it.
